Hip, Hippo, Hooray for Fiona cover

HIP, HIPPO, HOORAY FOR FIONA! A PHOTOGRAPHIC BIOGRAPHY (2017): On a cold, winter day, a premature baby hippopotamus is born at the Cincinnati Zoo. She is way too small to live. Her keepers refuse to let her die. They work day and night to keep her alive.

Thanks to the expertise, devotion, and creativity of zoo staff, Fiona does survive. She lights up the Internet with her personality and will to live. She becomes one of the best-known and best-loved hippos in the world.

The book is a tribute to a little hippo with a big personality, who brought happiness into our troubled world. (All ages 5+)
