About Lisa Amstutz: Lisa Amstutz is the author of more than 50 science and history books for children. Her work has also appeared in a variety of magazines and newspapers. She serves on the board of the Northern Ohio chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Lisa and her family live on a hobby farm in Dalton.

Applesauce Day cover

APPLESAUCE DAY (2017): Maria and her family visit an apple orchard and pick apples. Then it's time to turn the apples into applesauce! Every year they use the special pot that has been in the family for generations to make applesauce. First they wash the apples. Then Grandma cuts them into quarters. Follow each step in the process as everyone helps to make delicious applesauce! (Ages 4-8)
